Tousen Kaname

About:
Tousen is very mysterious person who hates to fight, and prefers peace. He was asked to guard the entrance to the tower when Ishida Uryuu showed up. He is also the 9th Division Captain with Hisagi Shuuhei as his vice-captain.

Appearance:
Tousen has dark skin along with dark hair to match.

Style:
Tousen's outfit includes the usual captain attire, along with an orange scarf, thick silver shades, black fingerless gloves, a purple sash around the waist, and white boots.

Power: Tousen's zanpakutou (well an inch of it actually) was revealed and it gave out such pressure that it caused Ishida to collapse (even though he had been weakened from before). The name of his sword is Suzumushi, and appears to be a regular katana. Suzumushi has many abilities: making opponents fall unconscious with a high-pitch ring, and a trail appearing from the sword's path that runs over the enemy.

In its bankai, Suzumushi creates a black dome around the battleground. All those in the dome lose all senses except for touch. Of course, one cannot be touching Suzumushi for this to happen. So Tousen is free to kill his enemy as long as he has Suzumushi in his hands.

History: Before he became a shinigami, he idolized a woman who died at the hands of her husband. She always believed in non-violence, and avoiding fights. Because he idolized this woman, he took her zanpakutou and vowed to follow her ways; to bring justice without using unnecessary force.
