About:
Rantao is definitely the creator of the Bount despite her young appearance. However, that doesn't mean she still has the signs off being old; she has a tendency to pass out for a whole day to recover after just a short fight. She first meets Ichigo and Uryuu who try to get answers from her. It turns out that her banishment from Soul Society was real, and she has the seal on her back to prove it. Later on she shows up at Soul Society and fights Kariya. She manages to stop him to an extent, but then something goes wrong with her body and she begin to die. Luckily, Uryuu came by to save her and used his bow one last time to fire off all that energy that was consuming Rantao.

Power:
Unable to use her shinigami powers, she has to resort to her inventions, which come in quite handy.
