Soi Fong

About:
Soi is the 2nd Division captain and she is also the commander of the special operations and executive militia. Her type of attacks is called "close-range combat" where she uses some sort of martial arts, and she is also a beginner in Instant Flash (Flash Step) which helps in fighting.

Appearance:
Soi has short hair, as it appears, but if you look closer she has long hair that's tied into 2 long tails wrapped in bandages.

Style:
She's a thin girl, but her captain clothes make her look like any other girl. When she fights one-on-one with Yorouichi, she gets rid of the jacket, and you can see her fighting outfit is like the black outfit, but without sleeves and probably less layers for swift movement.

Power:
Suzumebachi is Soi's zanpakutou, and appears as a regular kantana when it's tucked away in its guard. On its shikai, it changes size and resembles that of a bee stinger lying on Soi's middle finger of her right hand. It allows Soi to mark her opponent with a butterfly (if Suzumebachi came in contact with the opponent). Of course, this technique can end in two ways: either Soi dismisses the marking on her opponent, or she will touch the marking a second time and bring instant death to the one who's marked.

In the Bount arc, Soi uses Suzumebachi's shikai to kill one of the bounts. Unfortunately, the fight was longer than she had expected because the Bount Mabashi had used his doll to poison her. Luckily for Soi, she was able to counteract the poison with Suzumebachi's own poison and used this as an advantage. In the end, Soi won and killed Mabashi.

History:
One can also say she was Yorouichi's successor. She comes from a smaller royal family that served Yorouichi's family. Before she served their family her name was actually Shaolin Fong and her name was changed to Soi Fong after she joined the militia.
