The Results of Training After Kakashi arrives, they all move towards the field to start the match. Prior to beginning, Kakashi reveals his sharingan eye because he feels that he'll need to take this battle seriously - unlike in the past. And very much like the past, Naruto begins before Kakashi even told them to start. As soon as the words left Kakashi's mouth, Naruto appeared behind him with a kunai at Kakashi's throat. Luckily, Kakashi disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Sakura looked around and noticed he was in no visible directions around her. Thus, she concluded that he had to be underground. She balled her fist and pulled back her arm, then she punched the ground. Upon impact the ground in front of Sakura shattered and rumbled loudly. Debris of the ground came flying down past Naruto, who was very shocked to see Sakura's monstrous strength. At the same time, he also vowed to never joke around Sakura anymore because she just might kill him with that strength of hers. Kakashi, who was a few meters away, also stared at Sakura in shock; Tsunade had taught Sakura more than just medical jutsu. More so, Jiraiya up in the tree also thought his old friend had turned Sakura into another Tsunade. Kakashi thought that this Sakura may very well surpass Tsunade herself. Meanwhile, Deidara had already entered into the village riding his giant clay bird. He also spotted three guards scanning the skys, and he took out some clay spider bombs and blew them off. Back with the battle, it was already getting dark and Kakashi was slightly exhausted. Of course, Sakura and Naruto came at him again and Naruto even tried the Sennen Goroshi - but missed. Sakura then aimed a punch at him but ended up striking a tree instead; lucky Kakashi. With Deidara, he had made his spider bombs attach themselves to the guards scanning the skies. With them being attached to the guards, Deidara made a seal that made the bombs explode.
It was already dark out, and the moon was shining brightly. What shined brighter though was Sakura's knack for genjutsu, when Sasuke appeared out of bushes, heavily injured, claiming that he had escaped from Orochimaru. Of course, Sakura had no interest in illusions and quickly dismissed the genjutsu. Of course, the battle continues but Kakashi quickly escapes from Sakura and Naruto's hold once again.
By now, Deidara was safe enough to seek out the Jinchuuriki, Gaara. Upon landing on the roof top of the Kazekage Tower, Deidara looked up to see Gaara before him. Gaara stood in front of Deidara and stated that he wasn't going any further. The battle had just begun.
