The Trap is Sprung! Team Gai's Enemies While Team Gai is busy fighting their clones, Deidara is absolutely thrilled because Itachi had described the jinchuuriki perfectly. Of course, before Deidara sets his plan into action, he decides to talk about his form of art to Sasori. This was a bad mistake because it turned into quite the argument; Deidara thought true art happened with a bang, while Sasori thought art was eternal with his puppets. Naruto, who couldn't take more of their talking, told them to cut it out.Deidara stopped talking and decided to start the plan. He formed a bit of his clay into a bird and then made it bigger. The big bird swallowed Gaara's body, Deidara hopped on to its back, and it flew out the cave. Naruto chased after it, and Kakashi followed because Naruto couldn't be left alone. Kakashi handed Sasori to Chiiyo and Sakura. While Naruto and Kakashi crouched on the red temple-like gate in front of the cave, Chiiyo explained Sasori's technique to Sakura. Puppeteers have a hard time defending themselves and often fall back into the shadows and hide. However, Sasori had put himself inside his puppet, Hiruko, making it the absolute defence and offence. With the explanations over with, Chiiyo pulls out a bunch of kunai on a string of chakra making it look like the kunai were floating. She uses the jutsu, Sou Shuu Jin, and sends them at the puppet. Sadly the were deflected by Hiruko's tail. Because they were going to fight him, Sasori had to fight back; he shredded his cloak to reveal the rest of his puppet and asked if Chiiyo and Sakura wanted to be a part of his collection (of puppets).
