The Unfinished Page

After Yamato tells Naruto the truth to Sakura's injury, Naruto is terrified. He even remembers when he was training Jiraiya, and all he saw was a broken building and a bleeding sannin asking Naruto why he didn't remember anything.

When Naruto is back to normal, he and Yamato go over some plans while Sakura finishes healing herself. She tests out her arm and finds it to be okay, and then she turns her attention to Sai's picture book that's in her pouch. She takes it out and scans the page, and then calls the other two over. Together they look at the book and analyze it.

While looking over the book, Naruto makes some good observations. In the book the boy on the right side, with black hair, is battling enemies and taking their weapons and armor each time. The boy on the left with white hair is doing the same thing. Eventually they have to fight in the middle, but in the middle there's only an incomplete drawing of the black-haired boy who, in this picture, is faceless. The left side of the middle page remains blank. Naruto also makes a note that the black-haired boy looks a lot like Sai.

Meanwhile, Orochimaru and co. have stopped by the river to rest a little. As Kabuto cleans his tool kit, Sai is washing his face. As he looks for his towel in his bag, he realizes that his picture book is missing. Orochimaru notices Sai's actions and asks him if there's anything wrong, of course to which Sai says everything is alright. After that, Kabuto asks Orochimaru if he could have another male around the age of 15-16 when they get back to the hideout.

Kabuto doesn't like it when everything, the summons on his scroll, isn't in order. Orochimaru frowns and looks a little worried. He then asks if Kabuto's blood-type is A (in Japan, people with blood-type A are known to be perfectionists or good at organization). In response, Kabuto tells his master that he actually an AB (in Japan, people with blood-type AB are hard to tell what their personalities may be; blood-types are like star-signs).

When they're done resting, they disappear off into the woods again with the Yamato-clone close behind. They eventually stop in front of a giant rock, which opens up to reveal lots of stairs leading down. At the end of the stores is the hideout, and in that big room at the end sits Uchiha Sasuke, hidden by the shadows.
